Baker police are investigating a convicted sex offender who is now accused of impersonating a cop and raping a 17-year-old boy.
Officials say 55-year-old Mark David Russell was arrested after the alleged victim told investigators Sunday night that he was stopped last Wednesday while Russell was driving what looked like an unmarked police car.
The victim says Russell convinced him to go back to his house, where the teen says he was sexually assaulted and held against his will until he escaped Sunday.
