The work week is ending in Louisiana with gas prices still on the rise.
AAA says it's a result of a mid-April demand for fuel that hit a record high of almost ten-million barrels per day last week, up a half-million from the previous week.
The statewide average price of regular has climbed to just shy of $2.51 a gallon, up about seven-cents from last Friday.
