The state of Louisiana will be paying out a sizable chunk of change to the woman who claimed Governor Edwards' former deputy chief of staff, Johnny Anderson, sexually harassed her.

The Advocate reports the woman will be paid $85,000, a majority of it going to pay her lawyers and the rest of it to her.

Neither Anderson nor the governor's office has admitted wrongdoing, saying the settlement is to avoid a costly legal battle.
