If you're expecting a tax refund from the Louisiana Department of Revenue and it hasn't arrived, don't call, but check online to learn the status of it.
That's the advice handed out by DNR officials, citing an extremely high call volume. They say it's quicker to learn about the status of your refund by visiting their website.
So far, they've processed more than 400,000 individual income tax returns since January 29.
