A lot of workers at a pipe manufacturing plant in Livingston Parish will be out of a job come next month.
CB&I located in the town of Walker confirms it will be laying off 163 employees on February 19th due to a smaller backlog of work.
Officials say such workforce reductions are common in the industry and likely will only be temporary.
