Gas prices in Baton Rouge are slipping a little lower at midweek.
AAA reports the average price of regular in the metro area is hovering around the $2.21 a gallon mark, falling just a fraction of a cent yesterday. The fuel is costing drivers about three cents more than last Wednesday.
The fuel was about a dime cheaper at this time last year.
