Police are releasing the identity of a man who died at the hospital after being hit in his wheelchair by a vehicle.
The accident happened New Year's Eve night on Essen Lane. Investigators say 61-year-old Clay Barras was attempting to cross the roadway around 6 p.m. when he was struck by a Honda Accord.
No charges were announced against the driver who escaped injury.
