The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office says a man is dead after being shot early Saturday morning outside a location where an adult pajama party was being held.
Officials say 30-year-old Acklin Jackson was found wounded and died later at the hospital. A disturbance broke out as the party was breaking up and shots were apparently fired by one person, at least one of the stray bullets hitting Jackson.
No motive or suspect information has been released.
