Report: Louisiana A "Judicial Hellhole"

The American Tort Reform Foundation is out with a report that ranks Louisiana as the eighth worst "Judicial Hellhole" in the nation.

Florida was ranked first in the group's 2017-2018 report released yesterday.

It says the state has a "longstanding reputation" for being one of the worst states in the U.S. to be sued in, citing such things as plaintiff-friendly courts, excessive jury verdicts and widespread judicial misconduct.
