Ex-NOPD Chief To Help Group Vet BRPD Chief Candidates

(Baton  Rouge, LA)  --  Baton Rouge is moving closer to having a new police chief, but eight candidates remain in the running right now.  But, who is the best person for the job?  The non-profit group, Together Baton Rouge, is seeking to provide its own input on that question, "The Advocate" reporting that it's hired former New Orleans Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas to help with the organization's vetting of the finalists.  Baton Rouge Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome will make her pick for chief from five finalists for the post.
