A fired Ascension Parish sheriff's deputy will be sentenced next month after officials announced yesterday a plea agreement in the case.
29-year-old Todd Tripp was facing trial on charges that included 300 counts of child porn possession, but pled guilty to ten counts of attempted possession of child pornography and indecent behavior with a juvenile.
He was initially arrested in 2013 and fired, and arrested on additional charges in 2015.
