A Zachary homeowner is charged with second-degree murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon after police say he shot and killed a 15-year-old burglary suspect.
Chadrion Brooks-Spurlock was shot Saturday afternoon as he and two others broke into the home of 58-year-old Terry Flanagan. Police say Flanagan then moved the teen's body to another nearby location.
The two others with the victim were arrested on nearly a dozen burglary counts.
