Baton Rouge Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome formally announced two more anti-crime initiatives Thursday.
They were unveiled Wednesday and include the creation of mentoring program designed to help foster better relationships between the city's youth and police.
The other involves AmeriCorps members who will lend their support in strengthening and improving neighborhoods that are considered high-crime areas.
