Some in Baton Rouge are hoping prayers are the answer to rolling back the murder rate in Louisiana's capital city. Among them are Metro Councilwoman Tara Wicker, along with faith-based and other community leaders.

Baton Rouge has recorded nine murders in less than two weeks, the latest a local 22-year-old rapper who was gunned down after exiting a music studio early Sunday morning.

Equally disturbing is that there have been no arrests in any of the nine murders that have occurred since late last month.
