Chicken Dispute Leads To Gunfire, Injury

A man is facing multiple charges after police say he got involved in a dispute over the purchase of fried chicken at a Baton Rouge convenience store located on Greenwell Street.

The sheriff's department says Kenneth Hunt is facing charges that include attempted second-degree murder after investigators say he opened fire Saturday night on a car with four people in it, wounding a 29-year-old.

The shooting followed a verbal altercation between a store employee and three of the victims that began after their request for freshly fried chicken.
