Three Livingston Parish public schools damaged in last year's floods will reopen for the start of the new school year.
Superintendent Rick Wentzel announced yesterday that permanent repairs at Freshwater Elementary, Northside Elementary and Springfield High schools will be finished by August 9th.
He also said work on five other schools is expected to be completed by next summer.
