A man in Ascension Parish is facing charges after allegedly running his wife over.
On May 2nd at 4:00 in the morning, the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office got a call of a woman unresponsive in a driveway in Prairieville. Detectives determined the residence had surveillance video showing Timothy Cockerham run his wife over and leave the scene.
Cockerham was transported to the Ascension Parish Jail and charged with aggravated second-degree battery, domestic violence and hit-and-run driving.
His wife is still in critical condition.
