A woman is dead after being thrown from her car, and investigators think they know what led up to the crash.
It happened late yesterday morning in West Baton Rouge Parish in Port Allen on LA 1. Plaquemine's Gina Marks died after being ejected from a truck that deputies believe was drag racing another truck before it hit a car and crashed into a ditch.
No one else was hurt, and the driver of the other truck fled the scene.
