More outreach events will be held this week to help homeowners fill out a survey that is the first step in requesting help through the Restore Louisiana Homeowners Assistance Program.
Personalized help will be offered between 9 a.m and 7 p.m. Tuesday at the East Baton Rouge Parish Library at 11300 Greenwell Springs Road and Thursday at the Denham Springs Old City Hall at 115 Mattie St.
The survey can be filled out anytime online or by calling (866) 735-2001 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. It takes about 15 minutes to complete.
State officials are urging any flood-impacted homeowners to complete the survey, even if they do not believe they will qualify for the program.
