New Report Looks At Economic Impact Of Last Year's Floods

As floodwaters rose last year, a new report finds many saw incomes drop.

LSU researchers found more than half of those in the Baton Rouge metro area reported having their work disrupted. The report released last week also finds about a third of residents lost income from the floods.

Research director Mike Henderson tells The Advocate one bright spot from the report is that a quarter of Baton Rouge residents opened their homes to someone who needed a place to stay.
