More details are being released about Governor John Bel Edwards' new Louisiana tax plan.
In order to stabilize the state budget, Edwards wants to eliminate the one penny state sales tax and a particular current corporate tax deduction as well as lower personal income taxes.
Governor Edwards says his plan is modeled after what other states are doing, and will be presented to state lawmakers when they come back to work next month.
