East Baton Rouge Sheriff's detectives are searching for a suspect accused of stealing a TV from a Sam's Club while claiming to have a gun.
The unidentified suspect entered the Sam's at 10444 N. Mall Drive Wednesday night around 6:30 and told an employee he was armed.
The man left with a TV, which was placed into a dark-colored older model 2-door Chevrolet pickup with dark-tinted windows, chrome grill and no license place. The truck then sped off towards Siegen Lane.
The suspect is described as an older black male, wearing white shoes, faded blue jeans, grey shirt, blue jacket and a black and white skull cap.
Anyone with information is asked to call the EBRSO at 225-389-5000. Crime Stoppers is also offering a cash reward. Anonymous tips can be calle dino the 225-344-7867 (STOP).
