Louisiana Man Arrested For Texting Deputy About Drug Deal

A man is facing drug charges after he accidentally texted a sheriff's deputy about a delivery of crystal meth.

The Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office says Dwayne Hebert was arrested on Friday in Pierre Part. He previously was arrested in November for running a meth lab and was out on bond.

Friday, he accidentally texted a deputy about a meth delivery and the deputy agreed to meet him.

The deputy called the narcotics division and Hebert was arrested when he showed up at the meeting place.
