The owner of a Port Allen convenience store is locked up and accused of selling drugs out of the store.

Acting on a tip, West Baton Rouge Parish deputies investigated reports of drug sales at Snappy's on Highway 190.

Undercover officers reportedly bought meth and marijuana over the counter from the store's owner, 28-year-old Mafoodh Ahmed.

Deputies arrested Ahmed last week for possession of meth, pot, fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and stolen goods reportedly found in his home.

Two other people also face drug charges.
