A large number of schools are still closed today because of the lingering winter weather.
Classes are canceled at all public schools in both East and West Baton Rouge Parishes, as well as in Ascension, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, and St. James Parishes.
Southern University and Baton Rouge Community College are also closed, along with a number of other schools.
Classes are delayed until 10 a.m. at the Dunham School, and until 12:30 p.m. at LSU.
