BREC is collecting Christmas trees for recycling at six local parks.
The locations will accept only natural trees with all lights, ornaments, tree stands, and flocking removed.
Tree collection is underway at Liberty Lagoon Water Park, Highland Road Community Park, Scotlandville Parkway, Flannery Road Park, Plank Road Park, and Zachary Community Park.
The tree recycling will continue until January 10.
