Louisiana Attorney General, Treasurer Elections Headed For Runoff

The races for Louisiana attorney general and treasurer will both be decided in next month's runoff election.

In the attorney general race, Republican Liz Baker Murrill will face off against Democrat Lindsey Cheek.

Murrill is the solicitor general to Attorney General Jeff Landry. Cheek is a New Orleans trial attorney.

The treasurer race will be between Republican John Fleming and Democrat Dustin Granger.

Fleming is a former U.S. congressman, and Granger is a financial planner in Lake Charles.
