An endangered loggerhead sea turtle is undergoing rehab at the Audubon Nature Institute.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and the Audubon Coastal Wildlife Network worked together to rescue the turtle in July from the Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge. Somebody called for help after spotting him floating upside down and in distress.

Audubon officials say the turtle is now named Francois.

He was dehydrated and underweight, but is recovering.

Francois will stay at the Audubon Aquatic Center until he's healthy again.
