A Republican senator says if he's approached about running as a third-party presidential candidate, he'll listen.

Speaking on NBC's Meet the Press, Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) said it would depend who the Democratic and Republican candidates are.

Cassidy said he would support any of the candidates who were on the stage for the GOP debate last month.

He said he has not been in contact with the No Labels political group, but indicated he was open to being a third-party candidate if 2024 ends up being a repeat of President Biden against former President Trump.
