Death row inmates in Louisiana are not being granted clemency at this time.

The Board of Pardons and Parole decided to drop all 52 inmates' requests for clemency during their meeting on Monday.

Most of the requests were made on the same day last month in an attempt to be granted by Gov. John Bel Edwards before he leaves office next January.

The board said the clemency applications are being set aside pending further review.
