The state legislature will return to the Capitol on Tuesday for a session to override some of Gov. John Bel Edwards's vetoes.
Lawmakers will vote on legislation banning sex-change operations for children.
The legislature is also expected to vote on bills that would limit pronoun usage for transgender public school students and prohibit discussing sexual orientation and gender identity on campus.
