LSU's Jay Johnson Named Coach Of The Year

The awards are still rolling in for LSU baseball coach Jay Johnson.

Johnson was announced on Thursday as the National Coach of The Year by Collegiate Baseball newspaper.

Johnson led the Tigers to a 54-17 season that ended in a national championship on Monday.

He is the third LSU coach to receive the honor, joining Paul Mainieri and Skip Bertman.
