Baton Rouge Sam's Club Employee Arrested For Shooting Co-Worker

A Sam's Club employee is in custody for reportedly shooting a co-worker outside the store where they both work.

Baton Rouge police arrested 20-year-old Donald Brooks on Wednesday for attempted second-degree murder and illegal use of weapons.

Brooks reportedly ambushed the victim in the parking lot on North Mall Drive around 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

The wounded victim fled to a nearby restaurant while Brooks returned the gun to his car and went back to the store.

Police arrested Brooks on the job the next morning.
