Former LSU tight end and New Orleans native Foster Moreau is coming to his hometown to play for the Saints.

ESPN reports that the team has signed Foster to a three-year deal worth $12 million.

The move comes two months after Foster received a diagnosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma.

The former member of the Las Vegas Raiders said at the time that he was stepping away from football, but his medical clearance may come sooner than expected.
