Two siblings are in custody after an investigation into who supplied the drugs in a deadly fentanyl overdose in December.

East Baton Rouge Parish deputies arrested 30-year-old Reginald Banks on Tuesday while searching his home in Livingston Parish, as well as his sister's house in Baton Rouge.

They seized fentanyl, a handgun, and drug processing gear. Banks and his sister, 49-year-old Michelle Banks, are both charged with fentanyl possession with intent to distribute, operating a clandestine lab, possession of a gun with drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
