Tropical Storm Cristobal Weakens Slightly After Making Landfall In Mexico

Forecasters are predicting Tropical Storm Cristobal could turn north and start heading for Louisiana as soon as tomorrow.

The National Hurricane Center says Cristobal is now over Mexico and will weaken into a Tropical Depression before regaining enough strength over the central Gulf to become a Tropical Storm again.

A flood watch has been issued through next Tuesday with heavy downpours expected as models show Cristobal off the Central Louisiana coast on Sunday morning.

Meteorologists say there is still a slight chance the storm could shift more towards Texas or to the east and the Florida Panhandle.
