A groom is facing charges of hiding evidence in connection to the fatal shooting of his best man after the wedding in 2018.

Officials say Christopher Jerome Sterling was arrested Tuesday for obstruction of justice and accessory after the fact in the murder of Byron Jenkins two years ago.

According to reports, Jenkins was shot and killed at a party after Sterling's wedding, which was held at a business he co-owned.

Police say their investigation led to evidence that Sterling tampered with his businesses' security camera system in order to protect the identity of the shooter who has not yet been arrested.
