A Baton Rouge woman is a new record holder at the National Senior Games in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

On Monday, 103-year-old Julia "Hurricane" Hawkins set a record for her division in the 50-meter dash. She then finished the 100-meter dash in 46 seconds, coming in first in her division.

The former LSU Tiger says she wants to continue to inspire others to remain healthy throughout their lives.
