EBR Coroner Releases Cause Of Death For Steven Whitstine

East Baton Rouge Parish Deputy Lt. Steven Whitstine died from natural causes, the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner announced Friday.

Whitstine died from congestive heart failure due to an enlarged heart, said Dr. Beau Clark. That appears to have caused the single-car accident that occured Thursday morning while Whitstine was heading to work.
