East Baton Rouge Metro Council Member Barbara Freidberg is announcing she will run for a vacant state representative seat.
Freidberg says she will focus on educational opportunities, making changes to help move the economy forward, improvements to healthcare and advances in Louisiana's infrastructure. The open seat is being vacated by outgoing Representative Franklin Foil due to term limits. The primary election is set for Saturday, October 12th.
