A Baton Rouge firefighter is under arrest for allegedly causing a horrific crash in early November while he was drunk behind the wheel and speeding.

Authorities say 33-year-old Christopher Reese was taken into custody yesterday.

Police say he was traveling at more than 90-miles-per-hour and had a blood-alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit when his pickup truck slammed into a Jeep. The female driver suffered serious injuries and had to have a leg amputated.
