Tropical Storm Gordon is a little stronger this morning, with maximum sustained winds of 65 miles per hour.
While Gordon has fought some shear, keeping most of the action on the eastern side of the small system, it's expected that the shear will weaken enough as it speeds through the Gulf Tuesday to allow for some more strengthening, allowing the system to just reach category 1 hurricane status before landfall sometime late Tuesday night along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
