A white man is under arrest on a charge of aggravated second-degree battery that left two black teens injured at a Christmas Eve bonfire event in Gramercy.

The St. James Parish Sheriff's Office says 21-year-old Jordan Hitt of Gramercy was arrested Thursday.  The two victims, ages 15 and 17, required hospital treatment for injuries they suffered.

Family members say the boys were attacked by a group of men after the younger one spoke to a white girl.
