A former deputy with the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office is going to prison for four years.
That's the sentence handed 29-year-old Todd Tripp after pleading guilty in October to charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile and several counts of attempted possession of child pornography.
At one point, he had faced 300 counts of child porn possession.
