A man is behind bars after meeting up with a woman in Denham Springs to buy an Xbox One but then allegedly opting to try to take it from her at gunpoint.
Authorities say the crime happened Monday outside the Chase Bank on Range Avenue. Police say 18-year-old Michael Mitchell high-tailed it after the woman screamed.
Officers say they caught up with him later, charging him with attempted armed robbery.
