Baton Rouge Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome is seeking to launch a disparity study early next year to determine whether minorities, veterans and women are not landing City Hall business.
It'll examine possible biases in city-parish procurement.
The mayor's proposal, detailed in an executive order issued yesterday, requires Metro Council approval before the study can move forward.
