A Baton Rouge man is facing a cruelty to juveniles charge after police believe he went too far in disciplining his teenage son.
The BRPD arrested 39-year-old Joseph Elphage after officers were called by hospital officials who were treating the 15-year-old boy for multiple marks in multiple places on his body.
Police say Elphage admitted to hitting his son with a cord for skipping school.
