LSU Reinstates Alcohol Ban For Frat-Sorority Parties

LSU is once again imposing a ban on alcohol at all fraternity and sorority parties.

It had been lifted this past weekend, but university President F. King Alexander announced Thursday it was being reinstated again until at least the first of the year after learning that some students hadn't "absorbed" the seriousness of the problem.

Freshman Maxwell Gruver of Roswell, Georgia died in September after a hazing incident where his blood-alcohol level rose to almost point-five.
