Explosion At Fort Bragg Injures Over A Dozen Soldiers

An Army spokesman says "multiple soldiers" are injured after an explosion during a training exercise at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.  The soldiers are part of the U.S. Army's Special Operations Command and were training on a range at the Army base.

Lieutenant Colonel Rob Bockholt said the soldiers were taken to the Womack Army Medical Center for treatment.  Their conditions are not being released at this time.

Bockholt did not say what caused the explosion, but  according to various reports, the blast occurred when a vehicle rolled over in a remote area of the North Carolina base.
