Florida Remains At Risk From Hurricane Irma

Hurricane Irma is now on track to make landfall near Miami.

The latest forecast from the National Hurricane Center shows a slight westward shift for the Category Five storm. Irma will weaken a bit before hitting Florida early Sunday and should be a Category Four storm by then.

Irma is expected to track north, skirting the east coast of the Sunshine State before barreling into Georgia and the Carolinas.

Irma has already left at least nine people dead across the Caribbean.
